Idea
StackOverlord was created so people could make decisions within their zbors in a reliable way.
The idea is to include those who, for whatever reason, cannot be physically present at the zbor. So, the concept is to stay informed and participate in decision-making even when we're sick, traveling, in transit, or living in the diaspora.

StackOverlord exists to make organizing local zbors easier. Additionally, it provides access to information, safe inclusion, and choice in how to participate.
Vision
StackOverlord is guided by a vision where local zbors are a natural part of decision-making and have reliable digital support. In this vision, everyone can participate equally, with clear insight into events, identity protection, and the ability for each zbor to self-organize and make decisions.
Mission
Our mission is to build tools together with users, through open development, actual use, and constant adaptation. Through everything we do, support for zbors remains central, with decisions in the hands of the people who make them.
Key Values
Our work is based on several key values that guide app development:
- Collective decision-making: Decisions are made collectively, through agreement and clear division of responsibilities, without individual dominance.
- Physical verification and security: Identity is confirmed in person. After that, the app enables remote participation while protecting personal data.
- Technical independence: The tool works independently and doesn't rely on other systems not controlled by the community using it.
- Accessibility: The tool is free and always will be.
- Education: Through everything it offers, it helps people understand their rights and learn how to use them.
Why do we believe in all this?
A question that seems so simple but actually carries enormous weight. We got involved in this story primarily because we wanted to contribute. For some of us, this was the only way to get involved and be there for our people and our country.
Then we continued to believe in it when we saw research responses, then reactions from people who tested the prototype, and we'll be happy even if you find some flaws.
